Next February 28th at 9:00Pm, the group The Cabriolets will perform in room San Borondón at Auditorio Alfredo Kraus. The band will premiere its first album called ‘Demo’, full of urban music which fusions - in English and Spanish- all kind of styles: R&B, pop, rock and soul, etc. It will be presented in the place known as the Auditorium’s corner (‘El Rincón del Auditorio’).

Fate is the main responsible for the members of the Cabriolets getting together, each one from a different universe. Bimba Bosé, international model, Diego Postigo, audiovisual producer, and David Unison, an unclassified musician; all of them bring to life a group born in 2006 in Madrid, and since then it has been looking for an identity wrapped up with the debut album, premiered in October 2008.

Many of their songs have authentic stories behind, as: ‘About me’, whose lyric was remitted by an anonymous person, or ‘Cadáver exquisito’ (Exquisite corpse), written after a game in which every player writes a sentence on a paper. The last word of each sentence inspires next player’s phrase. ‘Poco a poco’ (Gradually) is also anecdotic: it was written getting inspired in a bar of Madrid, AKA Bar, where the group usually goes to.

For the making of ‘Demo’, the trio was supported by producer Andres Levin (who has worked for Diana Ross, Tina Turner or Caetano Veloso, among others). It was in Fun Machine- a New York studio- where The Cabriolets brushed up the last details of their work.

Mixed by Bob Power and mastered by Tom Coyne, the final result is purely The Cabriolets, which is, the sum of diverse influences transformed in its own DNA.
